The Yvonne Rogers Quartet will perform a free concert at the Arts Center at Duck Creek in Springs as part of its New Music Series Thursday at 6 p.m. Ms. Rogers is a pianist, composer, and multimedia artist who lives in Brooklyn.
Described as a “fresh, new voice on piano” by Paul Acquaro of the Free Jazz Collective, she has performed at the Jazz Gallery, Roulette Intermedium, the Blue Note, the Kennedy Center, and the N.Y.C. Winter Jazz Fest. She received the 2024 Next Jazz Legacy Award, given to outstanding women in jazz.
