Artists on Their Work

“East End Collected 8,” a show of paintings, sculptures, drawings, prints, photography, video, and glass fusion by 28 East End artists, is at the Southampton Arts Center through May 4.

Participants include Isabella Rupp, Samuel Havens, Richard Mothes, Aurelio Torres, Georgia Suter, and Amy Zerner, all of whom will be on hand to talk about their work on Saturday at 3 p.m. The show’s curators, Paton Miller and Christina Strassfield, will moderate the discussion, which is free.

New Restaurants on the Horizon

Among the new restaurants coming to the South Fork are Lion's Nook Bar and Grill (from the founder of Springs Tavern), Babe's, "a finer diner," and Jean's, a branch of the trendy NoHo bistro.
