Holiday Cabaret

Our Fabulous Variety Show will bring its Melt Away Holiday Cabaret to Guild Hall on Saturday at 7 p.m. The variety show features the family-friendly drag queens RaffaShow, Miss Nina, and Julia Van Cartier along with professional singers from the local community, improv sets with adult actors, and dance routines.

OFVS is a nonprofit organization that produces programs from full-scale to showcase, and provides educational performing-arts programming for the community.

Tickets range from $23 to $50, $17.50 to $35 for students and senior citizens.

Jazz at the Temple

In conjunction with Hamptons JazzFest, the Sag Harbor Masonic Temple will host “Jazz Without Borders” Friday at 7 p.m. Craig Handy on saxophone, Bill O’Connell on piano, Essiet Essiet on bass, and Claes Brondal, the M.C., on drums, will perform a program that prioritizes swing, soul, and real-time creative exchange.

Doors open at 6:30, when dinner offerings from Tapovana Lunch Box and drinks will be available for purchase. Admission to the show is $20.

Film Festival News

The 34th annual Hamptons International Film Festival will be held from Oct. 2 through Oct. 12, 2026, with screenings and events across the South Fork. The festival will begin accepting submissions in February via Film Freeway. More information and submission guidelines are at filmfreeway.com/HamptonsFilm. Founder passes are on sale during December from the film festival’s website.

Putting Gardens to Bed

The next round-table discussion of the Horticultural Alliance of the Hamptons, set for Saturday morning at 10 at the Bridgehampton Community House, will focus on “Putting the Garden to Bed for the Winter.”

Among the topics to be considered are fertilizing and mulching, what to cut back and what to leave in place for winter interest, what to bring inside, how to put fallen leaves to work in the garden, and composting.

The discussion is free for all. Samples for show and tell will be welcomed.

Rowdy Hall in Amagansett is celebrating 30 years in business by launching a 1 Percent for the East End Giving Campaign, in which the locally owned restaurant will donate 1 percent of its monthly revenue to a rotating local charity serving the East End throughout 2026.
