Arts Network, Jazz
Hamptons Art Network, a consortium of 21 nonprofit arts organizations, was founded in 2016 to create a unified arts community to support collaboration and advance culture on the East End.

Nineteen representatives of the network will be at The Church in Sag Harbor on Friday at 6 p.m. to talk about their organizations and take questions from the audience, "as the group is eager to hear directly from the community it serves," according to a release. A list of speakers is on The Church's website.

Tickets are $10, free for members who register.

The Mercer Quartet, a collaborative modern jazz ensemble, will perform at The Church on Saturday at 6 p.m. The group draws from a multitude of influences including hip-hop, avant-garde jazz, contemporary jazz, and folk music from around the world.

Its members are Mercer Shavelson, a keyboardist and composer; Adam Cordero, a composer and multi-instrumentalist; Gary Jones III, a percussionist and composer, and Nick Panoutsos, a bassist.

Tickets are $25, $15 for members.

Comedy Showcase
The Sticks and Stones Comedy Club will celebrate Groundhog Day by bringing its Industry Mic Showcase to the Southampton Cultural Center on Friday at 7 p.m. Hosted by Joe Winchell, a Sag Harbor native, the show features the comedy of Rob White, Debbie D'Amore, Dan LaRocco, Emily Santosus, Kathy Arnold, and Keith Fairfax.

Tickets are $35, $50 for reserved seating, and $70 for V.I.P. treatment. Drinks and snacks will be available in the center's art gallery starting at 6:30.

Garden Planning
The next Horticultural Alliance of the Hamptons roundtable discussion will take place Saturday morning at 10 at the Bridgehampton Community House. The subject is "Garden Plans for the New Season," and the principal presenter will be Elaine Peterson, a former alliance president who lives and gardens by Lake Montauk.

Among the topics to be discussed are rearranging plants to give them a fresh start, adding or changing irrigation, planning a new garden design, creating new borders and garden areas, protecting plants from wildlife, and incorporating native plants, among others.

Roundtables are open to nonmembers at no charge.

Stars Out in Southampton
"Creative Works in Progress: Scenes, Stories, Comedy," hosted by Angela LaGreca, an Emmy Award-winning producer, writer, and comedian, will bring Joy Behar, Mercedes Ruehl, and a "surprise guest" to the Southampton Inn on Saturday at 4 p.m. Not surprisingly, the show has sold out.
