Ralph Gibson, the celebrated photographer currently having a solo show, "Nature: Object," at the Parrish Art Museum, will be at The Church in Sag Harbor on Sunday at noon to offer a look into "Italia," his forthcoming photography book, which will be published in 2025.

Mr. Gibson will discuss the driving forces behind his current work, offer insights from his experiences, and illuminate the behind-the-scenes work that goes into the publication of a photography book, a subject he knows well, having published more than 40 monographs to date. After the discussion, he will take questions.

His countless honors include France’s highest Order of Merit, Knight of the Order of the Legion of Honor; a Guggenheim Fellowship, and induction into the International Photography Hall of Fame in St. Louis. His photographs are in more than 200 public collections.

Tickets are $10, free for members, who are required to R.S.V.P.
