    Helen Ficalora, of the eponymous jewelry line that adorns the slim limbs of models and actresses and is often featured in layouts in major fashion magazines, has created a men’s line of jewelry that will be available by Father’s Day.

    Ms. Ficalora had a “soft” opening of her new men’s flagship store in early December. The store is in Manhattan, at 21 Cleveland Place in SoHo, right next door to her women’s boutique.

    White’s in East Hampton was sold in August, but longtime customers of both the pharmacy and cosmetics departments will be happy to learn that much of what they love about the store is expected to remain under the new ownership — including its pharmacist, Vincent Alibrandi.

    The harbor branch of Suffolk County National Bank, on West Lake Drive in Montauk, will close for good on Feb. 14 at 3 p.m. All accounts from the bank will be automatically transferred to the branch on Montauk Highway in the downtown area of the hamlet.

    Frank Filipo, the executive operating officer of retail banking, said this week that the harbor branch is one of six that will be closing in order to increase efficiency in the entire branch system. The closing is part of a project that bank officials have been working on for months, he said.

    If you picture the Hamptons Organic Beauty Bus as a spa on wheels, you would be almost right. Conceived and operated by Karen Clement, a former model born in Grenada, the idea for the enterprise is to deliver beauty services directly to the client’s home.    Annette Azan-Baker, a fashion industry veteran who lives in Sag Harbor and North Carolina, has embarked on a new career, and is blazing through such uncharted territory that she hasn’t found a name yet for the service she performs. While, in essence, she guides clients through redesigning their homes and wardrobes, she doesn’t want to be called an interior decorator or personal shopper or image consultant or any of those other limiting names.

Bancorp to Acquire FNBNY

    Bridge Bancorp, the parent company of Bridgehampton National Bank, will acquire FNBNY Bancorp and its subsidiary, the First National Bank of New York. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2014, subject to conditions including required regulatory approvals and approval of FNBNY’s shareholders.
