Bel Mare Happy Hour
Bel Mare Ristorante at Maidstone Park in Springs is offering daily specials on bar bites and drinks between 4 and 6 p.m. The menu features dishes such as fried calamari, shrimp sautéed in a Sambuca sauce, and meatballs with ricotta cheese for $8 each. Domestic beers are $4, imported ones are $6, and select wines are $8 a glass.
Calling All Bakers
The Springs Agricultural Fair will have contests for best pie, muffin, cookie, cake, and breads at the Springs Farmers Market at Ashawagh Hall Saturday morning.
Entries can be made from 8 to 9 a.m. on the day of the fair or online at springsagfair.com. There is a $5 fee for each item.
