A Chowdah Chowdown, featuring soups from Stuart's Seafood, Smokin' Wolf BBQ, Peter Ambrose, the Clubhouse, Breadzilla, Salt, and others, is planned for Saturday, Nov. 9, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Springs Tavern.
The chowder event will benefit the Springs Food Pantry and Share the Harvest Farm, which help needy families with basic nutrition necessities.
For a $20 admission fee, guests will get a reusable mug to fill over and over to taste the various chowders, including clam, fish, corn, chicken, and even gumbo.
