Project Most’s Empty Bowls fund-raiser is scheduled for Sunday from noon to 3 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, at the corner of Montauk Highway and Abraham’s Path. An array of soups from local chefs will be available for tasting, with proceeds benefiting Project Most’s programs for children and families. The afternoon will include a 50-50 raffle and live music. Project Most mugs will be for sale, and takeout will be available.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $8 for children ages 5 to 13. Children under 5 will be admitted free. Takeout pints are $15 for one or $25 for two. More information is at projectmost.org.

Programs offered through Project Most have been shown to increase learning time by 35 percent and improve student performance in math, science, technology, engineering, the arts, and language arts. The organization nurtures creativity and exploration through hands-on learning and an educational approach that fosters lifelong curiosity.
