The brackets are set for the 18th annual Travis Field Memorial Softball Tournament, which returns to the Terry King ball field in Amagansett Thursday night. The first pitch is at 6:15 p.m., with games continuing through Sunday night.
Seventeen teams will take part in the coed double-elimination tournament, played each summer in memory of Travis Field, who died in a car accident on May 15, 2008, at the age of 20.
The popular tournament benefits the Travis Field Foundation, which helps underwrite scholarships awarded to East Hampton High School seniors who share Field’s qualities, including a passion for sports and a commitment to community service.
The 2026 Travis Field Scholarship winners were Vicky Chen, Colleen McKee, Sean Perez, Lydia Rowan, and Jacen Sheades.
