Brewathlon, in which teams of four will face off in a run, row, and bike race for the Old Montauk Athletic Club, will take place on Saturday beginning at the Montauk Brewing Company on South Erie Avenue. Start time is noon.
The race consists of one and three-mile runs, a 3K row, and a 10K bike ride, each completed by one member of the team, and teams must have at least two women. Registration costs $200 per team plus an online service fee at elitefeats.com. Those who want to take part but do not yet have a team can contact Jenn Fowkes at [email protected].
Proceeds help OMAC provide scholarships and support local youth and adult athletes.
