"We have a couple hundred appointments still available today," a hospital spokeswoman wrote in an email on Friday morning.

Appointments must be booked on Stony Brook Medicine's website; no walk-ins will be accepted. Appointment booking can be accessed at https://southampton.stonybrookmedicine.edu/COVID19VaccinationInfo.

Those who receive appointments must bring proof of age. As of 9:30 a.m., a couple hundred appointments were still available between 12:30 and 7:15 p.m.
