Taking Flight for Kids

Thu, 08/05/2021 - 07:55

Wings Over Haiti, which built a school near Port-au-Prince and has plans to build another, will benefit from the Hamptons Artists for Haiti fund-raiser at the East Hampton Airport on Saturday, Aug. 7, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. The organization was established by Jonathan Glynn, a Sag Harbor artist, in 2010.

The benefit will feature wine, cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, raffles, a silent auction, dancing, and music by D.J. Giancarlo. Billed as "the best time you'll ever have helping build a school," tickets are $175 in advance and $195 at the door, and can be bought online at wingsoverhaiti.net.
