Harvest Fund-Raiser
Share the Harvest Farm will hold a chowder contest and fund-raiser on Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. at the Springs Presbyterian Church. Clam, fish, chicken, corn, and other chowders prepared by restaurant chefs and home cooks will be available for takeout. The cost is $20 and includes a ceramic mug, a choice of two 12-ounce servings of chowder, oyster crackers, and utensils. Proceeds will benefit the farm and the Springs Food Pantry.

Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance at sharetheharvestfarm.org and Amagansett Wine and Spirits. The first 100 people who buy a ticket ahead of time will receive two free doughnuts from Scoop du Jour. 

Thanksgiving Tips
Carissa Waechter, the owner of Carissa's Bakery in East Hampton, and Roman Roth, the winemaker and co-owner of Wolffer Estate Vineyard in Sagaponack, will discuss what to serve for Thanksgiving in a virtual interview with Florence Fabricant, a food and wine writer for The New York Times, at 11 a.m. on Sunday. The cost is $10. Tickets are available on Guild Hall's website. 

November at the Inn
The November dinner menu at the Bridgehampton Inn features small and large plates of appetizers, pasta courses, and entrees. The appetizers include spiced carrot soup and a kale and Manchego cheese salad for $14 or $18 each. The entrees include seared scallops with warm lentil salad, Asian beef short ribs, and lamb meatloaf with spinach, polenta, and crispy onions for $29 or $39 each. The restaurant is open for indoor and outdoor dining and takeout Wednesday through Sunday. 

Highway Pre-Orders
Highway Restaurant and Bar in East Hampton has Thanksgiving food items available for pre-order through Nov. 23, for pickup on Nov. 25 and Nov. 26. An apple pie is $34, cranberry sauce is $20, and vanilla ice cream, apple cider vinaigrette, and hot sauce are $14 each. For the night before Thanksgiving, the restaurant has a $225 meal package for four to six people that includes a choice of kale or Caesar salad, eggplant Parmigiana, roasted chicken, and an apple crumble. A $100 kids menu for four includes Caesar salad, a choice of chicken fingers or penne with vegetables, and chocolate chip cookies.

For those who want to dine out, the restaurant is available to rent for private dining on Thanksgiving Day, and its chef can be hired for in-home cooking. 

Lulu, Family-Style
Lulu Kitchen and Bar in Sag Harbor is offering a family-style dinner from noon to 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving. The cost is $42 per person, not including tax and gratuity, and at least two people at a table must order. The menu will include turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and sweet potatoes, and the restaurant's a la carte menu will also be available. Reservations have been recommended.

The meal is also available for takeout, and comes with a baguette, a house salad, and an apple croissant crisp. The cost is $140 for two, or $280 for four. Orders must be placed two days in advance.  

Thanksgiving Catering
The Art of Eating in Bridgehampton has a Thanksgiving catering menu featuring soups, salads, and other appetizers, entrees, side dishes, and desserts. A complete dinner with turkey breast, herb dressing, mashed potatoes, sweet potato puree, sauteed broccolini, cranberry sauce, and a buttermilk biscuit is $59 per person.

A brined and basted roasted turkey with herbs is $13.50 per pound with a 15-pound minimum. A pear and almond tart is $42, and a honey apple crisp with cranberry rolled oat streusel is $46.50. The full menu can be seen and orders can be placed on the Art of Eating website. 

Visionaries
Guild Hall's next Visionaries benefit event will feature Christina Isaly Liceaga of Rosie's restaurant in Amagansett. Inspired by the beach lifestyle, Ms. Liceaga created her family, health, and locally focused restaurant after stints in fashion, finance, real estate development, and Broadway production.

A small group will convene for a socially distanced talk and cocktail reception at the restaurant on Friday, Nov. 12 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $300 for a table for two with Visionaries members receiving a discounted price of $250. Tickets are available on the Guild Hall website. Visionaries members should email [email protected] to receive the discount.

Summer shares are now available from Quail Hill Farm, one of the country's original community-supported agriculture farms. Family shares, for households of two or more people, and single-person shares as well, run from early June through Halloween, with picking two days a week, including unlimited flowers.
