Stargazing Party

The Hamptons Observatory and the South Fork Natural History Museum are teaming up for a summer stargazing party on Wednesday. William Francis Taylor, the observatory’s senior educator and a NASA/JPL ambassador, will help adults and children “learn about and appreciate the universe in which we live.”

At this in-person event, Mr. Taylor will speak from 8 to 8:30 p.m.; afterward, all attendees will head outside for a star-watching session until 10. The museum notes that the event will only take place if the skies are clear that night. Attendance is free, but tickets are limited. The website to sign up is summerstarparty.eventbrite.com.
