Scary Libraries
The local libraries will make Halloween a focus this week, too.

The Hampton Library’s Halloween parade through Bridgehampton will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday. At the John Jermain Memorial Library in Sag Harbor, there’s a costume party for all ages that day from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m.
Kids in kindergarten through sixth grade can make sashes and shields for their costumes on Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Amagansett Library. Also in Amagansett, a Science in Motion session on Tuesday at 4 p.m. will have the same age group exploring the physics of racing ramps.
The Montauk Library will host a Monster Mash with crafts and games on Friday, Oct. 30, at 4:30 p.m.
Haunted in Montauk
Camp SoulGrow and Captain Kid Toys are sponsoring a haunted house at Third House in Montauk next Thursday through Oct. 31 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Entry costs $5 and will support Camp SoulGrow, a nonprofit that offers programs in Montauk for children and adults. Third House is at Montauk County Park, east of downtown and just west of Deep Hollow Ranch.
