Essay Writing Workshop

By
Star Staff

College-bound high school students can learn more about writing application essays in a two-part workshop at the East Hampton Library. Part one, about how to get started and what makes for a strong essay, will be Monday from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Participating students will return to the library at 10 a.m. on Aug. 5 for individual conferences with volunteer tutors.

Lisa Michne, the head of young adult services at the library, is seeking experienced writing coaches for the program. She can also provide more information about the program. Registration is required.
