Peter Shilowich of East Hampton and Alyssa Pelosi of Grand Island, N.Y., were married on the shores of Georgica Pond on June 13.
Mr. Shilowich is the son of Terri Rauch and Richard Shilowich of East Hampton. Ms. Pelosi’s parents are Susan and David Pelosi of Grand Island.
The bride wore a silk Hera Couture gown and carried a bouquet of white anthurium, cascading green amaranthus, blue tweedia, and pale pink lisianthus. Alexander Houriet officiated, and a reception followed in the groom’s parents’ backyard.
The couple met at a Halloween party in Pittsburgh, where they both went to college. Mr. Shilowich graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in mechanical engineering and works as a manufacturing engineer. Ms. Pelosi earned a doctorate from Duquesne University and is a community pharmacist.
They live in Pittsburgh.
