An East Hampton man told village police he was looking down at his phone last Friday afternoon when his 2016 Chevrolet pickup truck ran into a 2018 Tesla at the intersection of Pantigo and Accabonac Roads.
The Tesla driver, Russell Diamond of Sag Harbor, was stopped in westbound traffic when Ivan Mesa of East Hampton rear-ended his vehicle.

She asked him to test the entry code for the room and closed the door behind him. He left when he was unable to unlock the door.
