Thu, 05/23/2019 - 06:37

A 19-year-old East Hampton woman was found lying on a trail in the Grace Estate Preserve in Northwest Woods Sunday morning, unresponsive, apparently from an overdose.

Detective Sgt. Dan Toia said police found evidence of narcotics at the scene along with drug paraphernalia, as well as a Ziploc bag containing a powdery substance that has not yet been identified.

Just after 9, an East Hampton Village ambulance took the woman to Southampton Hospital. She was initially listed in critical condition, the detective said. Police did not release her name.
