A wake for Kevin John Somers will be held at the Yardley and Pino Funeral Home in East Hampton on Saturday from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 p.m. Burial will be at noon on Sunday at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in East Hampton. Friends have been invited to a reception after the burial at the Springs Firehouse. Mr. Somers, who was 45, died on Saturday

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that people contribute to a scholarship that will be created in his name. Checks can be made out to the Kevin Somers Scholarship Fund and mailed to P.O. Box 1023, Amagansett 11930. A GoFundMe page has been set up for online donations.
