Catherine Pombo, 91

Catherine Pombo, 91, of East Hampton died at home on June 24. She had been in hospice care.

Born on June 25, 1929, in Sag Harbor, Mrs. Pombo had lived in East Hampton since shortly after her marriage 70 years ago to Joseph H. Pombo. He survives, as do two sons, Joseph C. Pombo of East Hampton and John Pombo of Garner, N.C. She also leaves five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A daughter, Eileen Carmona, died last year.

A private graveside service for Mrs. Pombo was held on June 30 at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in East Hampton.
