Tatiana Basch: Award-Winning Equestrian and Photographer
Tatiana Basch is an aspiring equestrian and photographer who lives in New York City. West End Secondary and is going into her sophomore year. Another one of her other passions is volleyball, but as much as riding, where she has competed in many competitions from Wellington Florida to the Hampton Classic.
She is a Scholastic award-winning photographer and writer, having won gold keys for both. She participated in her school's Newspaper Club, and has interned at the East Hampton Star, where she learned both how to craft news articles and how journalism works.
In school, her best subjects are math and English. Her main inspiration is her mother, whom Tatiana said pushed hard and never gave up even when her life growing up wasn’t easy. She is very close with her sister, whom she calls her best friend. Additionally, she loves baking and spending time with her friends.
