The East Hampton Town Republican Committee will host a meet-and-greet with Suffolk County District Attorney Ray Tierney on Monday evening at the American Legion in Amagansett.

From 6 to 8 p.m. Mr. Tierney will be on hand to answer questions from constituents and discuss the work of his office. Mr. Tierney, a Republican from Holtsville who was elected in 2021, has a house in Montauk and has long spent time in this area, said the town's Republican leader, Manny Vilar.

While the event at the Legion is hosted by the Republican Committee, it is open to people of all political backgrounds, Mr. Vilar said. There will be food and soft drinks and the Legion's bar will be open for those who wish to buy other drinks.
