Saturday is Amagansett Maritime Heritage Day. The Amagansett Life-Saving and Coast Guard Station Museum, in collaboration with the East Hampton Town Marine Museum, will celebrate local history with activities and tours of both locations from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The annual Tyler Valcich Memorial Car Show is set for Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Amagansett Firehouse. The event includes more than cars: live music, raffles, food trucks, ice cream, children’s rides, and awards are also in store. The Memorial Car Cruise, which starts and ends at the firehouse, will begin at 3 p.m.

Those wishing to register vehicles have been asked to call 631-604-8865 or email [email protected] The cost to participate is $25, admission for spectators is $5. The events benefit the Tyler Project, a nonprofit organization that provides young people with counseling, educational services, information, and classroom programs, to help predict, prevent, and support crises.

Also on Sunday, pets can be taken to St. Michael’s Lutheran Church for a Blessing of the Animals ceremony on Sunday from noon to 2 p.m. Guests have been asked to take blankets and towels as well, and, for donation to the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons, unopened pet food.
