Covid Tests in Springs on Monday — Pruebas de covid en Springs el lunes

A free Covid-19 testing center will operate in Springs on Monday for one day only from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Appointments for the rapid tests can be scheduled by calling 631-899-3441.

The exact location of the testing site will be provided upon booking an appointment by phone. Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone, the Suffolk County Community Recovery Initiative, and OLA of Eastern Long Island have joined forces to make the tests available.

"Advanced Cardiovascular Diagnostic's testing has a positive predictive value of 100 percent and a negative predictive value of 97.5 percent," the group said in a release. Testing is recommended for anyone with a cough, shortness of breath, or difficulty breathing.
