The Sag Harbor School District announced this week it has scheduled another Marsden Street community forum. It will take place on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the Pierson library and virtually via Zoom.

On the agenda is a discussion of two turf surfaces — specifically, a 100-percent natural grass option and a 91-percent natural grass hybrid option — plus lighting, parking, and comfort station designs for the proposed athletic facility on Marsden Street, which has been a very hot topic in the village. A question-and-answer period is also on the agenda.

The district also has a regular school board meeting on Monday at 6:30 in the library, at which point community members can speak during public comment sessions. Links to attend virtually, plus the meeting agendas, are typically posted ahead of time at sagharborschools.org.
