Open Again
The Old Stove Pub in Sagaponack has reopened for indoor dining and takeout on Fridays and Saturdays, and will be open on Sundays starting April 4. The restaurant now offers a sushi bar. A heated tent that seats up to 75 people will be available for outdoor dining starting in April. 

Jean-Georges at Topping Rose House in Bridgehampton is once again offering outdoor dining, and, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Easter, it has a three-course prix fixe brunch special for $78, and a two-course one for kids for $39. The appetizers include tuna tartare with avocado, radishes, and ginger dressing, and an escarole and strawberry salad with goat cheese and basil. The entrees include grilled lamb chops, mushroom-crusted salmon with lemon vinaigrette and herbs, and avocado toast with smoked salmon, and a poached egg. The Easter Bunny will be on hand to greet diners.

More Passover and Easter
Rowdy Hall in East Hampton has three Passover specials for dine-in or takeout on Saturday. Matzoh ball soup is $12, red wine braised brisket with roasted butternut squash, apples, and honey is $28, and an almond torte with strawberry mousse, candied pistachios, and strawberries is $11. 

For Easter, Nick and Toni's in East Hampton has a special three-course prix fixe brunch for $75, and a three-course prix fixe dinner for $95 on April 4. The brunch menu features a sweet sausage and potato frittata with spring onions and greens, goat cheese ravioli with sweet peas. shallots, and prosciutto, and grilled lamb chops with wood-roasted spring vegetables, and salsa verde. A brunch menu for kids with items such as chicken Parmigiana, and scrambled eggs with bacon and toast, is also available for an additional $24. The dinner entrees include asparagus risotto with preserved lemon and Pecorino cheese, Wagyu New York strip steak in a Barolo reduction with spinach and porcini mushrooms, and wood-roasted halibut with sweet pea puree and hen of the wood mushrooms.  

The 1770 House in East Hampton is offering a $55 two-course prix fixe Easter dinner, and, for takeout, a $400 ready-to-cook meal for four to six people that includes an entree, three side dishes, and dessert. For the entree, there is a choice of beef tenderloin with mushroom and red wine jus, or Australian leg of lamb with roasted garlic and Dijon mustard. The side dishes are roasted asparagus with a tarragon, caper, and egg dressing, snap pea, baby carrot and artichoke fricassee, and truffled potato gratin with caramelized onions. For dessert, there is caramel popcorn, and a choice of warm date cake with sticky toffee sauce and vanilla gelato, or chocolate cake with pineapple, coconut, rum caramel, and vanilla gelato. Add-ons include a four-ounce caviar kit with creme fraiche and blinis for $350, a 36-piece poached shrimp platter with horseradish cocktail sauce and lemon for $100, and two quarts of spring pea soup with cornbread crumbs and paprika oil for $30. The meals must be ordered by next Thursday, and picked up on Friday, April 3.

North Fork Wine Accolades
Two North Fork wineries won honors at the 2021 New York Wine Classic, a competition among 96 wineries from across the state, Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo announced last Thursday. Pindar Vineyards in Peconic won the Governor's Cup, the best of show award, for its 2019 Dr. Dan's Signature Collection Gewurztraminer, and it won a platinum medal for best white wine. Paumonak Vineyards in Aquebogue won the Winery of the Year award, and gold medals for best vinifera red blend, best traditional method sparkling wine, and best sauvignon blanc.

Art of Eating
The Art of Eating catering company in Bridgehampton is offering several frozen food specials. Soups are $13 per pint, and include lentil, chicken, New England clam chowder, and white bean and kale. A turkey or beef mini pot pie is $15, a lobster and shrimp one is $18, and vegetarian one is $10. Brisket shepherd's pie with green beans and mashed potatoes is $14. Spinach lasagna is $23 for one to two and $43 for two to four. An order of two enchiladas, either pork carnitas or black bean and cheddar, is $16.50, a dozen turkey picadillo empanadas is $38, and 10 meatballs in marinara sauce is $27. All items are available for same-day pickup. Ordering is on the company's website, where a full menu can be found.

Summer shares are now available from Quail Hill Farm, one of the country's original community-supported agriculture farms. Family shares, for households of two or more people, and single-person shares as well, run from early June through Halloween, with picking two days a week, including unlimited flowers.
