More for Thanksgiving
Carissa's Bakery in East Hampton has a Thanksgiving takeout menu featuring breads, soups, salads, side dishes, desserts, and more available for pickup on Wednesday from noon to 4 p.m., and next Thursday from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. A loaf of pickled rye is $8, a multigrain baguette is $7, a quart of wild mushroom or ginger squash soup is $24, charred greens with preserved lemon for two to three is $20, stuffing with pork sausage for four is $24, vegetarian stuffing for four is $18, and Japanese sweet potatoes with chili and lime for two to three is $20. For dessert, a double crust apple pie, an apple cider cheesecake pie, and a pumpkin and squash pie are $40 each, a cranberry and mixed berry meringue pie is $50, and a six-inch flourless chocolate cake is $55. Orders can be placed on the Carissa's website, where a full menu of offerings can be found.

Scarpetta Beach at Gurney's Resort in Montauk is offering a four-course Thanksgiving takeout dinner for four for $325. The first course includes rosemary focaccia, polenta, roasted beet salad, and chicory salad. The pasta course is baked manicotti with ricotta and spinach in a fonduta sauce with truffles and fontina cheese. A 12-ounce turkey breast entree comes with cranberry sauce and gravy, plus Brussels sprouts, mashed sweet potatoes, and root vegetable stuffing side dishes. The dessert is apple pie. Orders must be placed at least three days in advance by calling the restaurant, and can be picked up on either Wednesday or next Thursday. 

Wolffer Ciders
Wolffer Estate Vineyard in Sagaponack is offering a dozen 12-ounce bottles of red, white, and rose ciders for $48. A package that includes all three is $46, and one with a low-alcohol, low-calorie version of the rose is $42. Orders can be placed on the winery's website. 

Two More Weeks
Moby's in East Hampton will close for the season on Nov. 28. It is currently serving dinner Wednesday through Sunday, and lunch from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. 

Specials at the Inn
Through the end of the month, Bridgehampton Inn has a two-course prix fixe dinner special for $35 (with three courses for $40) on dine-in orders only from 4:30 to 6:30, Wednesday through Sunday. The menu has appetizers such as pumpkin squash fritters and a kale salad with manchego cheese. The entrees include mushroom risotto and a burger with fries. 
 

A Chowder Extravaganza for Springs Food Pantry

The Springs Food Pantry’s annual Chowdah Chowdown fund-raiser will return to the Springs Tavern and Grill on Saturday afternoon with all-you-can-eat chowder and soup from local chefs, live music by Josh Brussell, a mocktail bar, and a 50-50 raffle with a cash prize.

East Hampton Village announced this week that the current occupant of the village-owned concession at the Main Beach pavilion, Susan Seekamp’s Beach Hut on Main, won the bid to continue operating for five more years.
