An Arts Enrichment Initiative for Educators

Thu, 10/16/2025 - 11:09

The Church in Sag Harbor has invited educators and school administrators to an open house next Thursday, when staff will offer an overview of existing arts enrichment opportunities for students and schools and detail the new initiative set to begin next September.

The Arts, Creativity, and Education (ACE) pilot program will award $5,000 budgets to five selected applicants “to support a yearlong arts education partnership with The Church.”

The Church’s founders, April Gornik and Eric Fischl, will be on hand along with its executive director, Sheri Pasquarella, its operations manager, Casey Kleister-Meyer, and its programming and communications manager, Kristen Santori. Samuel Havens, the workshop and residency manager, will give tours of the space.

The open house runs from 5 to 7 p.m. and is free, but reservations are required.
