Magic Happens at the Library

Prestino the Magician will perform a magic show for an all-ages audience on Tuesday afternoon from 2 to 3 at the East Hampton Library. Also starring Cappuccino, the magic rabbit, the event is free but requires advance registration.

Other magic at the library includes an ice cream social for high school students on Monday from 4 to 5 p.m. The outdoor art cart, also for teens, arrives Tuesday at 4 for crafters of all stripes.

The animated movie “Finding Dory” (2016, rated PG) will be shown on Wednesday at 3 p.m. Popcorn will be served. Also Wednesday, teens in need of community service hours can help the library make fresh, fun, and educational videos to post on TikTok.

Goin’ Quackers, a program all about ducks presented by Cornell Cooperative Extension, arrives at the library next Thursday at 10 a.m. For kids ages 3 to 5, the program includes story time, crafts, and the chance to meet some ducks up close.
