Pierson High School Surveying Students

Wed, 02/10/2021 - 16:24

Students at Pierson High School in Sag Harbor have been asked to respond to a survey about what attendance system they prefer — either in-person, hybrid, or fully remote — for March. Replies are due by noon on Feb. 24.

"Over the past few weeks, there has been a significant decrease in the number of high school students attending in-person," Brittany Carriero, the school principal, said in an email to families. "We are exploring options in our ongoing effort to maximize in-person instruction."

The option that students choose will apply to the entire month of March, Ms. Carriero said. The survey, which is for high school students only, can be found online at bit.ly/3jxtFik.
