Get Your Dance On

DanceHampton in East Hampton Village, Creative Edge Dance Studio in Montauk, and the Hampton Ballet Theatre School in Bridgehampton are enrolling dancers for fall programs.

DanceHampton has classes in lyrical, jazz, musical theater, hip-hop, tap, and ballet. Class sizes are limited and other safety measures will be in place to protect against Covid-19. A schedule and registration information are online at dancehampton.com.

Creative Edge is offering socially distanced outdoor classes, for private, semi-private, and small groups of students, in families' own backyards. Information is online at creativeedgedance.com.

The Hampton Ballet Theatre School, which focuses on ballet but also teaches other styles of dance, has registration and class information online at hamptonballettheatreschool.com.

Teen Trivia, Bring Your Own Coffee

At the East Hampton Library, an outdoor kaffeeklatsch (take your own coffee) for teens will be Tuesday from 4 to 5 p.m.

The library is also offering an online college prep program for teens about how to effectively research colleges amid Covid-19 and write compelling admissions essays. It will take place Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m.

Animal Story Time

On Tuesday, the John Jermain Memorial Library in Sag Harbor will have an animal-theme story time session online at 10:30 a.m. For the program, children should have a piece of paper and something to draw with. A link to the program is online at johnjermain.org.

Stories in Spanish

The Montauk Library is offering weekly online story time videos in Spanish and English for children. A new video is posted every Wednesday, and is accessible on the children's blog at montauklibrary.org.
