Chamber music concerts in Montauk originated at that hamlet's Carl Fisher House in 1978, and Music for Montauk will revive that legacy with a concert there by Trio Zimbalist on Sunday afternoon at 4.

Members of the trio, Josef Spacek, a violinist, Timotheos Gavriilidis-Petrin, a cellist, and George Xiaoyuan Fu, a pianist, are prominent alumni of the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia.

The group will perform Haydn's Piano Trio No. 39 in G major, Hob. XV:25; Martinu's Bergerettes for Piano Trio, H. 275, and Ravel's Piano Trio in A minor.

The concert is free, but seating is limited and reservations are required at musicformontauk.org.
