Joe Delia, the musician, composer, and actor, will sing, talk, and show clips from his performances, at the Montauk Library.

Joe Delia, a Montauk-based singer-songwriter, actor, composer, and arranger, will be at the Montauk Library on Friday afternoon at 5 to play, sing, reminisce, and show film clips of his live performances and soundtracks.

As a performer, Mr. Delia is known for his blues piano as the keyboardist as well as lead vocalist for the band Joe Delia & Thieves, which has two gold records and one platinum disc to its credit. He has performed onstage with Bruce Springsteen, Keith Richards, Dave Edmunds, and many others.

Mr. Delia has also composed scores for more than 50 feature films, including Abel Ferrara's "King of New York" and "Ms. 45."

A Renewed Focus on Fresh Fish

Dock to Dish, a restaurant-supported fishery cooperative founded in Montauk in 2012, has new owners and a renewed focus on getting fresh-from-the-boat seafood directly into the kitchens of restaurants across the East End and the New York area. And the fact that most of the owners are also fishermen doesn’t hurt.
