The LongHouse Reserve will reopen for the season on Saturday with an afternoon of family-friendly activities and tours running from 12:30 to 5.

The day will include art workshops with the Shine Studio and Pia Leighton, an artist, a garden walk with Geoffrey Zimmer, a landscape architect, at 1, and a tour of the LongHouse garden art installations led by Amy Kanengiser, a docent, at 2. Gian Carlo Feleppa will close the afternoon with a sitar concert.

Admission is free for the day, but reservations through the garden’s website are encouraged.
