An annual event eagerly anticipated by dog owners across the South Fork, the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons Stroll to the Sea is set for Saturday, with the designer Isaac Mizrahi once again acting as M.C.

The stroll starts and ends at the Mulford Farm on James Lane. Gates will open at 9 a.m. Contests for best ears, best-dressed duo, and best bark from a human will be judged starting at 10:15. Those wishing to enter have been asked to preregister at arfdogwalk.org. There will be vendors, food, music, a silent auction (with bidding already open online), and family activities at the farm.

The walk to Main Beach and back sets out at 11. In case of rain, the stroll will happen on Sunday. “Come for the dogs, the beach, the contests, and the chaos, but know that every dollar raised helps us rescue another animal and give them everything they need to find a home,” Kim Nichols, ARF’s executive director, said in a release.
