McCarron-Sherlock Engagement Announced

Mike and Liz McCarron of Montauk have announced the engagement of their son Benjamin Knute McCarron to Colleen Elizabeth Sherlock, whose parents are Kevin and Debbie Sherlock of Montauk and Delray Beach, Fla.

A graduate of East Hampton High School who attended Eckerd College in Florida, Mr. McCarron is a boat captain and runs Push the Limit Sportfishing. Ms. Sherlock, a graduate of St. Anthony’s High School in South Huntington, attended Nassau Community College and the University of Rhode Island. She works as a caregiver of children.

The couple, who live in Montauk, met on a fishing trip on the Lazybones and got engaged on a beach on Friday. A date for the wedding has not yet been set.
