Pucci and Markey to Wed in Fall

Bob and Liz Pucci of East Hampton have announced the engagement of their son Joseph Robert Pucci to Kathyrn Eileen Markey, a daughter of Jay and Kerry Markey of Chelmsford, Mass.

The couple became engaged in April at Rye Beach in Rye, N.H., and are planning an October wedding in Quincy, Mass., where they are living.

Mr. Pucci, a 2009 graduate of East Hampton High School and a 2015 graduate of Northeastern University in Bos­ton, works as an architect at CBT Architects there. Ms. Markey, who is known as Katie, works as a senior financial analyst for Johnson & Johnson in Raynham, Mass. She graduated from Northeastern in 2016.

The couple met through mutual friends while in college.

Countdown to the Three Mile Harbor Fireworks

The Clamshell Foundation's Great Bonac Fireworks Show over Three Mile Harbor is scheduled for Saturday at 9 p.m. with a rain date of Sunday. Because of the increase in boat traffic expected, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has announced the closure of Three Mile Harbor to shellfishing starting at sunrise on Saturday.
