Domenic Papa, the owner of a Connecticut car dealership, has bought the Amagansett and Bellport I.G.A.s, also known as Cirillo's Markets, from Fran Cirillo.
Signs at the Amagansett store alert shoppers to the change of ownership and ask them for patience during the transition.
Mr. Papa "is new to the area and is excited to be entering the supermarket business," according to Christin McCullough, the new operations manager for the Amagansett branch. "Mr. Papa looks forward to getting to know his customers, and becoming an active part of the Amagansett and Bellport communities."
