The Surfrider Foundation’s Eastern Long Island Chapter and the Group for the East End have invited all to an Earth Day dune grass planting coastal restoration get-together at what is popularly known as Baby Beach at Maidstone Park in Springs on Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m.

Participants will be provided with the needed tools and plants to restore a small dune area at the beach while creating a fun and educational environment where residents and visitors can make a difference and learn how to protect coastlines and climate.

Those wishing to take part have been asked to reserve a spot and obtain more details at bit.ly/4mu4SMT.
