Soccer and Tennis Return

East Hampton Town's seven-on-seven youth soccer program, which includes goalies, and tennis and flag football programs are back in action this fall. All programs are subject to health screenings and other Covid-19 precautions. More information on registration, rules, and practice and game times is online at ehamptonny.gov/263/General-Programs-Applications.

The regular soccer season starts on Sept. 26 and runs through Nov. 7 at a cost of $45 per child. There are two divisions, one for children in third and fourth grades and another for children in fifth through seventh grades.

Tennis clinics, played from 4 to 5 p.m. at the Amagansett Youth Park on Abraham's Path, are for children in second grade and up. Clinics start on Monday and are $45 per student. Mondays are for second graders, Tuesdays are for third graders, Wednesdays are for fourth graders, and Thursdays are for fifth graders and up.

Flag Football Is Delayed

Coach Joe McKee said this week that his usual youth flag football league, played at Herrick Park in East Hampton Village, will start in early October instead of September. It is for children in kindergarten through sixth grade. To learn more or to sign up, an email can be sent to [email protected].
