Damage to Car Leads to Arrest at Ruschmeyer’s

A North Carolina man was arrested on a charge of damaging private property, a class-E felony, after an incident at Ruschmeyer’s in Montauk early Saturday morning.

Odhran Coyle, 22, allegedly tore a rear windshield wiper off the back of a white vehicle. The estimated cost of repair for the damage was $300.

East Hampton Town Justice Steven Tekulsky released Mr. Coyle on his own recognizance later that morning. He will appear in Justice Court on Wednesday for arraignment.

A Nissan sedan collided with a Range Rover on Amagansett’s Main Street, and in Springs it was a BMW and a Buick.
