Almost Twice the Limit

Thu, 04/30/2020 - 07:51

In Sag Harbor on Friday, village police clocked a blue 2007 Honda Civic headed south down Main Street at 39 miles per hour, almost twice the posted 20-mile-an-hour limit.

They caught up with the driver, Miguel A. Peua, at a traffic light, and eventually charged him with aggravated unlicensed operation. A computer check revealed that his driving privileges in New York State had been suspended no fewer than 14 times on 7 different dates.

He will appear in Sag Harbor Justice Court to answer the charge on Friday.
