Dominic Annacone, an educator who served as principal of Pierson High School and superintendent of the Sag Harbor School District, interim superintendent of the Springs School District, and superintendent of the Wainscott School District, died at home in Amagansett on Monday after a prolonged illness. He was 86.

A service will be held at the Yardley and Pino Funeral Home in East Hampton on Wednesday at 11 a.m., followed by interment at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in East Hampton at 1 p.m. 

Note: The service was originally scheduled for Friday, Sept. 16, but was changed.
