Water Safety the Focus at Life-Saving Station

The Amagansett Life-Saving Station will host a lineup of programs to mark International Water Safety Day on Saturday. From 11 to 2, there will be talks and interactive activities offering “a wealth of education to help waterproof our community.” 

The Hampton Lifeguard Association is the sponsor, and presenters include East Hampton Volunteer Ocean Rescue, the town’s Marine Patrol team, the East Hampton Hurricanes, Paddle Diva, and the eastern Long Island chapter of the Surfrider Foundation. It’s free to attend and refreshments will be served.
