Amagansett Library Vote Is This Week

In-person voting for the Amagansett Library’s annual board election is from Friday, March 15, through March 17.

Mail-in ballots must be dropped in the library’s return bin by March 17.

Voters must live, rent, or own property in the hamlet’s school district. Those without a library card can show photo identification, a utility bill, a tax document, a lease, or a similar document with name and Amagansett street address. Questions can be emailed to [email protected].

This weaver’s account book was kept by Benjamin Parsons, who began recording business transactions in 1794. His father was one of 49 weavers in East Hampton who signed the 1778 Loyalty Oath to the British.
