A Day for Older Adults at the Y.M.C.A.

Tue, 05/30/2023 - 09:40

Wednesday is Active Older Adults Day at the East Hampton Y.M.C.A. RECenter, offering health screenings and a schedule of free events and classes for those who want to stay fit — and, as the Y.M.C.A. says, "senior savvy" — into their silver years.

Between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., there will be beginner and intermediate pickleball clinics, yoga, aqua aerobics, spin class, and light lifting and cardio classes. The full schedule can be found online at this link.

There will also be refreshments and informational tables from local organizations. A link to sign up can is online here. The East Hampton Y.M.C.A. RECenter is at 2 Gingerbread Lane, and can be contacted at 631-329-6884 for more information.
