Events in East Hampton and Montauk will mark Veterans Day on Saturday.

A short Veterans Day parade will take place Saturday morning starting at 10 in East Hampton Village. Participants will gather near London Jewelers on Main Street 15 minutes before the start time and then proceed to the Hook Mill green for a brief ceremony. Another ceremony will follow at 11 at the American Legion in Amagansett.

A Veterans Day celebration will take place at the Montauk Playhouse Community Center on Saturday at 11 a.m. There will be a flag-laying ceremony and a wreath-laying ceremony with local Brownie and Boy Scout troops, as well as music, courtesy of a Montauk seventh-grader, Faith Mullaly. Light refreshments will be served outdoors after the ceremony.
