The holiday toy drive of the Sag Harbor Community Food Pantry has begun. New, unwrapped toys can be donated at the Long Wharf Windmill daily through Dec. 11 between noon and 5:30 p.m.
The toy drive is co-sponsored by the Sag Harbor Lions Club, whose members have begun selling Christmas trees at the windmill during those hours.
The drive benefits the patrons of the food pantry. Proceeds from the Christmas tree sales are donated to several village organizations.
A cocktail party for the Sag Harbor Whaling Museum, the Wainscott Strawberry Festival, and the East Hampton Historical Society’s annual membership party are just a few of the things to keep you entertained this weekend.
